just hearing that Lucy Connelly has been

Justice guidance um
suggests that she's been released and
she of course pleaded guilty to a charge
of inciting racial hatred and receiving
a sentence of 31 months in prison. She's
served 40% of that sentence and as is
standard for that type of offense will
remain on license under probation
supervision until the end of the
sentence. Not released early for good
behavior as these are not concepts which
exist under the current framework for
England or Wales. She's been released at
the automatic point of her custodial
sentence that 40% figure. And there's no
further comment from the Ministry of
Justice. But like I say, Sky News can
confirm that Lucy Connelly has been
released from prison. She pleaded guilty
to the charge after posting a post on X
the day of the Southport murders. It was
online for three and a half hours and
seen by over 300,000 people before it
was taken down. Like I say, she pleaded
guilty to a charge of inciting racial
hatred, received a sentence of 31
months, has served 40%, and as is
standard in the prison system, will now
supervision until the end of those 31
months.
